FT: Luton Town 2-3 Chelsea (Watch Full highlight)

Chelsea came from behind to beat Luton Town 2-3, with Romelu Lukaku scoring the game-winning goal.

The Blues had a poor first half, as all of their players were dispersed over the field.

Luton Town took advantage of an early opportunity to score the game’s first goal through Reece Burke in the second minute, making the score 1-0 going forward.

Chelsea were unable to make any progress as the match progressed until Saul Niguez leveled the score in the 27th minute with a beautiful finish to make it 1-1.

More chances will be created as the game enters the final phases of the first half, which saw the home team take the lead in the 40th minute thanks to a Harry Cornick goal to make it 2-1

The first half ended with Luton Town 2-1 Chelsea as they both went inside after 45 minutes of football which saw Thomas Tuchel side looking very poor going forward and defending.

The second half of the encounter was different as the Blues did everything possible in making sure they came back in the 45 minutes.

It was all about Chelsea maintaining their dominance in the encounter which was beginning to open up for them as it carried on.

Luton Town did well enough in defending but couldn’t stop Timo Werner from making the scoreline 2-2 with an assist from Ruben Loftus Cheek who was brilliant with the delivery in the 68th minute.

In the 78th minute of the game, Romelu Lukaku gave the Blues the lead after a fantastic buildup in which Timo Werner squared in a pass to the Belgian, who made it 2-3 in the match.

Luton Town won the match by a score of 2-3, and the Blues advanced to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup as a result of their incredible victory.
