Southampton Talks On Signing Chelsea Wonderkid Tino Anjorin
After cutting short his loan spell in the Russian Premier League, the Blues wonderkid is pondering his future move.
Following Ralf Rangnick’s departure to Manchester United, Southampton are in talks to recruit Tino Anjorin from Chelsea after he cut short his loan at Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 20-year-old is currently in London, finishing up treatment for a broken metatarsal he suffered in Russia.
The Blues had previously included a £17 million ($20 million) buyout clause in their loan agreement with Lokomotiv, and would be willing to accept a similar fee for the homegrown talent.
What if he decides to stay at Chelsea?
The Saints will attempt again in the summer if they are unable to sign Anjorin in January.
Instead, Chelsea will likely loan him out to a Championship club, with many clubs already inquiring about the attacking midfielder’s availability.

After Rangnick was stolen by Man Utd, Russia is no longer considered as the greatest environment for Anjorin.
In the first place, the sporting director turned head coach was the driving reason behind the transfer.
Why are Southampton stealing Chelsea players?
Hasenhuttl’s philosophy is increasingly focused on delving into the Premier League’s top six academies and providing the best young players a chance.

“In the meanwhile, he has a lot of fans.”
The Albanian international will be at the top of the club’s shortlist, but he will most likely have to wait until the conclusion of the season to see if Tuchel would give him a chance in west London.
West Ham is thought to be one of a handful of clubs that have expressed an interest in the 20-year-old.
