Chelsea hammered Chesterfield 5-1 in the Emirates FA Cup to advance to the next round.

Timo Werner opened the scoring for Chelsea in the sixth minute after a beautiful feed from Hakim Ziyech saw the German make it 1-0.
Chesterfield were no match for the Blues, as Callum Hudson Odoi scored a fantastic curler from outside the area in the 18th minute to make the score 2-0.
The game progressed with more chances, with Romelu Lukaku making it 3-0 after another brilliant aggressive play saw Lewis Hall provide the assist for the fantastic strike in the twenty-first minute
More chances were created, but none were added to the scoreline, which appeared to be done and dusted for the Blues, who were dominating the game.
Andreas Christensen added another goal in the 39th minute of the game, bringing the score to 4-0 thanks to a fantastic finish from the defender.
The second half started well for the home team, who maintained their dominance and pushed for additional goals.
Chesterfield appeared to be in control and composed until they gave a penalty, which Hakim Ziyech converted to make it 5-0 in the 55th minute.
Chelsea maintained their domination, creating more chances that may have resulted in goals, but their finish was superior.
In the 80th minute, Akwasi Asante equalized, beating the Blues’ third goalkeeper to bring the score 5-1 as the game progressed.
Chelsea won 5-1 against Chesterfield, advancing to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup with relative ease.
