Manchester United Confirm Ralf Rangnick As New Coach

Ralf Rangnick has been named interim manager of Manchester United till the conclusion of the season.

The 63-year-old German left his position as director of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow to join United on a six-month contract until the end of May, replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Rangnick will remain at Old Trafford for another two years as a consultant. It’s also feasible that if he can turn things around at the club, he’ll get the position as manager on a permanent basis.

‘Manchester United is thrilled to announce the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as temporary manager until the end of the season, subject to work visa restrictions,’ United said on Monday. Ralf and the club have agreed to keep him on as a consultant for another two years beyond this term.

‘Michael Carrick will continue to lead the team.’ and this might continue even after the season because it seems Rangnick has brought luck unto the team.

Everyone believes that Chelsea was going to beat Manchester United but the club still proven themselves worthy to continue.
