Hakim Ziyech scored as Chelsea claimed an impressive 0-1 win against Malmo in the UEFA Champions League group stages away from home.

It was a tough game for the Blues who managed to make sure they got the job done as Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are still missing from the team due to injury in the first leg of this encounter.

Chelsea struggled so much in the game as Malmo gave them a good run for their money despite them dominating things and creating numerous amount of opportunities which they failed to convert.

The game started brightly for the visitors who made sure they got control in order to pressurize their opponent from committing so they can take the lead as quickly as possible.

Malmo did well enough to make sure they don’t give up that easily as the pressure was all on them with them being unable to push forward as most of the game was played in their half.

Things continued looking good for Chelsea who continue creating opportunities but couldn’t make anything happen as the shot on and off target were so much but still nothing.

The encounter entered the final few minutes left of regular time to play in the first half of the game with the Premier League side still unable to find the breakthrough despite dominating things.

It ended in the first half with Malmo holding Chelsea to a goalless 0-0 scoreline as the Blues from London couldn’t find a way to break down their opponent who looked very strong.

The second half was a bit different but it didn’t stop the home side for making life difficult for the Champions League winners who struggled once again in the 45 minutes.

Chelsea was able to find the breakthrough in the 56th minute of the game as Hakim Ziyech teamed up with Callum Hudson Odoi before making sure his finished made the scoreline 0-1 for his side.

Malmo were left with so much work to do going forward and at the same time defending against a side who pressured so much in the match but still were unable to increase their lead which remained 0-1.

It was all about chances created but result to nothing good fr both teams who made sure they had their own opportunity of making things change, but none could make that happen as they approached final stages.

The game carried on until the final whistle which saw Chelsea taking a 0-1 win against Malmo to push them top of the group until Juventus finish their match against Zenit Saint Petersburg.
