The University of Ilorin fondly called Unilorin is a federal university located in Ilorin,the capital of Kwara State, Nigeria. It was established in the year 1975 by the decree of the national military government of Nigeria.
The famous University of Ilorin hosts the unpopular Dam called Unilorin Dam.
Unilorin Dam, which is located on river oyun is 17.8m high with a length of 570m and a reservoir capacity of 1334 million liters (Busari et al., 2014). Source: Google.
The primary purpose is to supply water for the University, but it also serves as a tourist attraction.
Unilorin Dam is a place to relax and enjoy nature and the entrance fee is #100. And if you are interested in a boat ride, the cost is #100 making a grand total of #200.

There is a tour guide to take you on the boat cruise. Don’t fret. Enjoy the best of nature for just #200.
Apart from going for a boat ride at Unilorin Dam, there is a place to hold a mini party and all you have to do is pay for your entrance fee; it’s too good to be real right? Well, it is the truth, so you can consider there next time you are planning a mini Hangout.

I don’t know about you, but as for me, the breeze beside the water hits differently unfiltered so I strongly recommend Unilorin Dam as a place to relax, clear your head and gain your sanity.
