La campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is set on 600 acres of land and has the widest Beach Front area. The Beach Resort has a clean beach, lagoon, and mangrove forest, Additional Specialties includes Longest Swimming pool in Africa, Accomodation, Lodging, Tree houses, Conference facilities, Bar,and Restaurant.
In 2014, La campagne Tropicana received an award as the best Beach/Resort in Africa
On getting there, i was directed to make payment at the reception, a sum of #5,000 per individual as an entrance fee or gate pass,so to say. All modes of payment is acceptable, cash or the use of Atm card after which i proceeded to a point designated for one to change the teller I first handed at the entrance to a receipt, i documented the receipt at the security post then proceeded into The Beach Resort.
Activities at La campagne Tropicana:
- Boat Riding
- Beach Volleyball
- Beach Football
- Horse Riding
- A golf course
All these, amongst others is inclusive of the #5,000 entrance fee, And of course you take nice pictures as much as you can.
There are huts at the beach side where one can relax after taking a stroll round the resort, and as i’ve highlighted above, there is also accomodation where one can pass the night,if need be. Rooms available ranges from as high as 250,000 to as low as 60,000 naira and plates of food at the restaurant costs #4,500. The Resort operates everyday and opens between 8am-10pm.
One extra amazing thing is that there is a small settlement inside The Beach Resort where people live, and the major occupation of their men is fishing. They are very friendly amd approachable people.
With the wave of fun at La campagne Tropicana, If one is not time cautious, believe me one will forget oneself totally and I must admit that I had a lot of fun and i won’t mind going there over and over again
